Description:We are pleased to offer a lotof 19th Century, Qing [Ching] Dynasty, Chinese, silk, embroidered, robetrim in beige. Measuring approximately 1.5” x 50” each, these four trimsegments feature motifs of flora, geometric adornments, as well as gourdsrendered in silk satin stitch embroidery, couched gold metallic thread as wellas couched cord flanked with peacock feathers (gourds only). They would make great trim around a picture or other textile for framing. As these segmentswere removed from a robe, they show signs of wear commensurate with ageincluding loose threads (gold metallic thread), soiling and minor bleeding (1segment only).
