This appears to be early - with a newer varnish applied

Nails are used to represent the canons on the side of the ship

There is a square cut on the top right - unsure why

On the back there is a label (circa 1850) from J F CABOT GILDERS AND PICTURE FRAMERS ENGRAVINGS, CHROMOS, LITHOGRAPHS, PHOTOGRAPHS, PASSÉ-PAR-TOUTS CORD TASSELS &c 89 SUDBURY St Boston
