It is made from silk with highly detailed fine embroidery as shown.

In terms of condition, there are only a very few light stains. Its a nice antique example with some beautiful embroidery. Gorgeous bright pink underside.This came from an antique travel trunk stored away for years in the home of a friend of mine. This is from her Grandmother who was wealthy and traveled, including China. This would be the prominent founding father\'s Peabody family of Greenwich, Ct., New York, and Boston.Please ask questions as I am no expert.There is an incredible gold metallic pleated skirt that matches this robe, and I am selling separately mostly because of the pictures required to show the items.
