This is a typical scene of a family with their four sons (as stated in the Hagadah), seated at the table with the ceremonial foods (can you make out the distinctive shankbone? it\'s there), cup of wine, etc. A strikingly similarly engraved pewter plate is shown from the October 25, 2000 Sotheby\'s sale of Judaica. Notice how that example sold for $3,000.

Touchmarks on reverse, I have seen this engraved scene on a plate from Alsace, France before, so I am adding France as a possibility of origin in addition to what Sotheby\'s suggests.
