19th Century Foo Dog Vase Along With An Early 1900's Nippon Pitcher:
19th Century Japanese Satsuma Foo Dog Vase Emperor reign marked. Unfortunately I cannot decipher the emperor's mark. This is a stunning piece known as the "1,000 Faces" collection. It has pristine beading throughout the faces. PLEASE SEE PICS for restoration done to the mouth and foot. The vase stands 7-1/2 inches tall and 3-1/2 inches diameter at it's mouth. There is some wear to the decoration around the neck of the vase. Also, a pristine early 1900's hand painted Nippon Porcelain Coffee Pitcher. No cracks what so ever. The pitcher is stamped with a clear green "M" wreath stamp that shows authenticity.
