19th Century Scottish Fur Sporran With Formerly Silver Plated Top For Sale
19th century Scottish Sporran and associated strapping.
Formerly silver plated top with a fur front and a leather back
It measures 23 cm top to bottom and 17.5 cm across.
The sporran is supplied with all the strapping and chains shown
The metal is brass and and was silver plated although most has rubbed off over the years. The fur is a little bare in places as you would expect due to its age.
