This late 19th c nicely detailed painted Hutschenreuther porcelain plaque shows a man smoking a pipe with a coat drawn over his shoulders. The plaque is signed lower right “Wagner” along the frame line, with an applied paper label on verso, as well as 311 and an impressed crown and shield mark on verso. Housed in an ebonized wooden frame, with some wear. Dimensions: 7” h x 5” w, actual; 11 ¼” h x 9 ¼”, framed.
