19th c Decorated Country Bowl in Early Red Paint
The bowl was acquired from a Cape Cod, Ma.family collection. The paint is a bright cherry red color.The bowl is out of round by an inch. The bottom andrim edges show good wear. The bowl is maple, and is in verygood condition, there is a small hairline on the outer edge,[photo # 2]. The interior is clean, with a couple of fruit stains.A desirable size at 15 1/4\" x 14 1/4 \" out-of-round;4 1/2\" h.A fine country painted bowl in very nice condition.Please email with questions and or concerns.
