Fine mid 19th century Russian icon painting ca 1850 , subject is of Christ triumphant on a golden throne , Christ is crowned holding scepter and orb , wearing blue jeweled robe and crown , the painting of Christ face is just incredible , very beautiful , May be Moscow school ? the icon measures 8 1/10inches 63/4 inches .The painting is in good shape for age some slight scratches but overall great for age , this is a wonderful work of art and original , hope it goes to a good home or collection item sold as is , thanks and good luck !
