We have here a RARE , authentic handmade art glass vase. This is from the Victorian Era being about 13O yrs old. The designis molded with slight indentations on the side. Some call this type of glass PELETON GLASS, which is described as glass with colored rods encased inside a layer of glass. It is also called spaghetti or splatter glass and End of Day glass. The interior side has white glass. We collect art glass and know how to inspect this for damage with a visual and touch inspection of all surfaces, inside and out, top and bottom. This is in OUTSTANDING condition and free of any dings, chips, flakes or repairs. Tap this with your finger and it rings like a bell. This is what you want to hear as if it had an internal crack, it would thud and NOT RING. This is about
9\'\' tall x 78\'\' across the top.
This is in outstanding condition an easy high 9 out of 1Oas to over all condition, the glass is not sick or cloudy also. There are no water or moisture issues. The interior is clean and flawless. The bottom, underside has a little wear which is normal and to be expected. This is a great collectible with wonderful coloration and it makes a fun gift. From a Smoke & Pet FreeHome.
