Here we offer a very handsome c1800 Georgian English Sheffield Plate Tea Urn (or as they were called then \"Tea Machine\" or samovar. The silver is in excellent condition with very little copper showing through (see the bottom of the ball feet.) This is a magnificent chaste design considered the very most \"modern\" style at the time of manufacture. The Urn stands 19\" high x 11\" wide x 9\" at base. it has a detached top finial, other than that it is in remarkable condition considering it is 217 years old.weighs 9.0 lbs
