This is a Phenomenal late 19thC Hand Carved & Painted Wooden Lady Statue that looks to have Possibly started life as a Newel Post or Bannister Lamp. The Top has been painstaking carved to match the base but does not look to be original. However the new top has turned this Unique old Beauty into a Functional Pedestal or Plant Stand. Overall a Very Impressive Hand Carved Statue with an Original Hand Painted Finish that is more in the style of a Blackamoor. This Beauty is Fresh from a Maryland Estate & is Begging for a New Life on Display. This old Beauty is Guaranteed to Impress the Pickiest of Clients.

Overall a Gorgeous Solid Carved Pedestal with light age wear to the original finish. There are a few old age cracks of no concern and light wear here and there. 3 intentional holes are at the top possibly from being wired as use as a Bannister lamp over the years. No wiring at all present and the top looks to be a very nicely carved replacement. Solid as can be and Guaranteed to Impress..
