19thC Indian tulwar heavy fighting sword decorated blade, triple fuller + yelman:

A 19th Century Indian tulwar, this sword is a very heavy fighting sword with a thick heavy blade - incredibly sharp! The all steel hilt is rivited to the blade- this rivet has beenloosened at some timeand there is slight movement between hilt and blade. There are decorative cartouches on both sides of the blade and stamps on the ricasso. There are a couple of sword on sword nicks to the leading edge. There is a 19cm false egde to the blade.
Condition. There is some pitting to the blade and age blackening, what you would expect for a sword of this age.
Measures: Overall length 83cm. The blade measures 73cm long and 3.5cm wide, increasing to 4cm at the yelman.
