Two US Navy Biplane Photos
Mid 1930s

These two photos belonged to an aviator or mechanic who was based at the US Naval Reserve Aviation Base in Long Beach California in the early 1930s. He went on to serve on the USS Saratoga. He had some amazing photos as well asmemorabilia from the 1933 and 1936 Air Races ~so please look for our other listings. Most allof his photos date from the early to mid 1930s.

Photo on left shows are a rare image of a US Navy F4B-2 biplane, from the USS Saratoga, with the Felix The Cat logo on the side. Number \"8613\" on tail.

Other photo is not as rare as I found it reproduced on a Wikipedia page. It shows a US Navy F4B-1 biplane in flight. Belonging to the VF-5 Squadron.

Other two images are cut-outs from 1930s era publication.

Photos Measure Approx 2.5 x 4.25 Inches.
