I have here an amazing RARE PAIR of gorgeous, VINTAGE, VERY ORNATE, REPOUSSE CANDLESTICKS. They are made by DERBY S.P. Co., probably in the early 1900\'s. They are numbered 2547. These are truly stunning with amazing attention to detail. Repousse, means that the crafter hammered the designs in the metal from the reverse side. These amazing pieces stand at 12 inches tall and the base is 4.75 inches across. They are in EXCELLENT CONDITION for their age. One has a little bent area on the top rim and a little bend on the bottom rim on same side, so was probably dropped at some point. Either are that noticeable and does not affect the use or beauty of the pieces. Both issues can be turned to the back. The design is so delicate and there are people on two separate sections. I love these two beauties. I\'m sure these pieces would really be showy if they were polished, but I like them, just the way they are.
