Selling two Austrian figural plates which appear to be enamel on stoneware most likely from the first decade of the 20th Century. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The plate depicting a woman has a tiny insignificant manufacturers flaw in the pink area just below the building on the right which is not distracting under normal viewing. The backs include this information: \"JMPERIAL AMPHORA TURN\" in the circle, and below that are 2 stamps, one is \"AMPHORA\" the other is: \"AUSTRIA\". The female bears the production number: 11935 while the male has 11985. Each was made with two holes in the back so that they can be hung (see photos). Diameters are 8 1/4 inch.
