Up for sale is a lot of 2 antique 19th century / Victorian black lacquered wood eyeglass / spectacle cases. They are decorated with gold designs. One has an end that folds open. It\'s 7\" long and 1 3/8\" wide. As in the photos, there\'s a spot with lacquer loss but otherwise very nice condition. The other case is open ended for sliding the glasses inside. It\'s 6.75\" at its longest and approx. 1.5\" wide. Both cases are lined on the inside with purple velvet. I purchased these at an estate sale and am uncertain of their country of origin.
