NAME/: 2 Plain Handle Dinner Forks

MODEL: Plain handle forks of a design produced by many manufacturers and popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

MFG: C. L. Rost - Probably Carl Louis Rost (1864 - 1946) Columbus, Crawfordsville, and Indianapolis jeweler from c1888 - 1920. After the retirement of Carl Rost in 1920, the Rost Jewelry Co. continued in business until the building of the Circle Centre Mall in the late 1980s at which time the green marble façade of the Rost Jewelry Co was used as the front of one of the restaurants in the area.

CONDITION: Light wear with base metal showing on the back at the base of the tines
