4 page letter written to his brother from Camp Advance of the 6th regiment of Indiana on the 5th day of Feb. 1862! Talks about being owed 3 months pay which was $39.00.Writing is very ledgeble, paper yellowed with small tears on creases.Second letter is written Jan. 1, 1862 from the same soldier to brother (with envelope) stating \" Hope time will be soon when this now distracted country shall again be restored to its once glorious condition when the Star Spangled Banner shall wave.........
