DETAILS:

This is an incredible pair of vintage tribal clubs or maces each hand carved in a single piece of wood and affixed to 4\" solid wood bases for display. We believe these are African or Polynesian in origin - in our research we have seen similar pieces attributed to both areas. These are quite tall - the largest measuring over 28\" including the base and the shorter is about 24\" tall. These are in great vintage condition - we do note some fine splits in the wood from aging, and general surface marks overall that add to the character of these pieces. The maces are affixed to the bases by means of a metal pin with a hole drilled into the base. We will take them apart for shipping to prevent damage. When you receive them, just slide the pin back into the base as shown. These will be shipped in a large box to accommodate their size. A fantastic addition to a collection!
