You are offerding on a pair of awesome, looks like pretty old maybe 1940\'s or really well done replicas, vintage carved chalkware, cherub - angel wall plaques.This is a lovely example of chalkware plaques featuring 2 different angels. 1 is praying & the other has their arms crossed over their chest. There appears to be only a tiny amount of missing paint along the frame at the top on one but I see no chips, cracks or significant imperfections! Chalkware items generally have some damage due to their fragility. These pieces have nothing wrong that I am able to see.

Each chalkware wall plaque measures 7-3/4\" X 8 3/4\" and is solid and heavy & even the frames are made of chalk.

The angels are in very high relief, each one hand paintedwith different poses. The ornate frames give an appearance of being recessed. with the high gloss background!

The backs of the frames are just unpainted chalk. Made by Gianetti\'s Art #1371. Definitely a compliment to any collection!
