This listing is for two charming floral picks from the 1950\'s. They are unmarked, but were made in either Japan or Hong Kong. They are made from Styrene (hard plastic), and were meant to be inserted into floral arrangements for Christmas. There is a Santa and a Snowman, both beautifully hand painted. They are unusual, in that the pick they are attached to is also hard plastic! They are quite well made, with the details \"raised\", and then the piece hand painted. They measure 13 1/4\" total, and the figurals are 3 3/4\". They were originally off-white, but have darkened over the years to a wonderful beige. They have great patina - the aged look things get over time. They are undamaged, and appear unused. They are great for all kinds of Christmas crafts, or just to display in a potted plant at Christmas. I thought they would be great in a Christmas cactus, or a poinsettia! JONESANTIQUES!
