For sale are two (2) Old Church Slavonichandwritten manuscript sheets or leaves. These two handwritten manuscriptleaves (with four pages of text) dated to the early18th century on heavylaid paper. Size of each sheet is about 7 in. x 10 in. Verybeautiful calligraphic writing in the Cyrillic alphabet of the Old ChurchSlavonic language in black ink with red rubrication.Thesemanuscript leaves arevery beautiful. On these two manuscriptleaves, there is eight (8) large handwritten initials, as well as four (4) red words (see the scanned images). Also, on thesetwomanuscript leaves, there are many instances of the NOMINA SACRA orSacred Names: seven (7) instances of \"Christ\"; two (2) instances of \"Lord\"; \"God\"; \"Trinity\"; and \"Prophet.\" Very beautiful leaves. These leaves may have stains, ink smears, anddiscoloration on thesheets, due to their age and liturgical use over thecenturies.
