Welcome to our sale! Many of you knowus as longtime collectors and sellers of antique and vintage Halloween, Christmas,Valentine’s Day and Easter holiday memorabilia, paper ephemera, antique dollsand toys, fine jewelry and other lovely old things! We are also often given thehonor of selling fine and rare pieces for other collectors.This is a FRIGHTfully fabulous pair of lithographed tin vintage Hallowe\'en noisemakers and in all my years of collecting vintage Hallowe\'en memorabilia these two are in as close to MINT condition as I have ever seen! Hailing from the 1950s or 1960s, these mid-century holiday toys featurematching winking Jack o\' Lantern illustrations and the tin pan clanger alsofeatures a flying witch on her broomstick, crescent moons, black cats, an owl,stars and flying black bats as well. Both of these decorations were produced by Kirchhof in the USA and they arealso marked Life of the Party Products. The round tin rattler resembles asleigh bell and has its original brightly-colored red wooden handle. The tin-panclanger features a convex design and retains both of its brightly-coloredyellow round tin clappers. The clanger measures 8 ½” long, and the round rattler measures about 4” long. The tin pan clanger is in NEAR MINT PLUS condition, with very little sign ofuse. There is a light, almost imperceptible, scratch in the center, and a roundsticker from a previous transaction appears on the handle’s reverse side. The matching rattler is in NEAR MINT condition and has only a tiny bit of paint wear on the underside. Thewooden handle is nearly pristine. This piece also has a sticker from a previoustransaction. I particularly love the bright colors used on these pieces, which includes livelyorange, golden yellow, black, creamy white and the red wooden handle. These twowould make a fun addition to any Hallowe\'en collection but would be especiallyperfect for those looking to acquire pieces in the very best condition.
