2 Old Paris Porcelain Green & Gilt Empire Form Cups & Saucers Circa 1830s AS ISBeautiful pair of hand painted Old Paris porcelain empire form cups and saucers. With gold floral scrollwork over a green background, gold bands around the foot, lip of the cups, and edge of the saucers. The outside of the handles are gilded. The top half of the inside of the cups are also gilded. Unmarked. Circa 1830s. One of the cups has a 1 7/8\" tight crack extending off the rim. The other cup has a large Y shaped crack extending from the rim down into the body on one side of the cup. These are both hard to see from the outside. Would display well. These also have some wear to the gilding and some wear to the green on the saucers. Each cup measures 3 3/4\" wide including the handle x 3\" tall.
Each saucer measures 5 5/8\" wide. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display-ability of the pieces. Please see my other listings for more Old Paris and other antique porcelain.
