2 Small Sterling Silver Oval Pierced Baskets, 1 by Gorham, Early 1900s, Pretty!

Presented is a pairing of two small sterling silver pierced baskets, both of which are oval shaped with tab handles. They are both lovely specimens of very fine silverwork!

Both baskets are marked for sterling silver. One basket has a flat base and is made by and marked for Gorham. It has a monogram of “McG” in the center of the inside of the basket. The other piece has four ball feet with no monograms and no maker\'s mark. Both pieces are from the early 1900s.

Both pierced baskets are in excellent condition. The Gorham piece has a very tiny ding of less than 0.5 of a mm and some very light surface abrasions inside the base. Otherwise there are no other dings, no dents, and no other problems of any kind.

These delightful little baskets are very pretty and may be just what you want in a corner of your home!

Footed Basket: 4 1/8 inches.

Heights Measured to Top of Handles:
Gorham Basket: 1 inch.
Footed Basket: 1 ¾ inches.
