Listed this week is session three of this large and very fine Chinese art estate collection. Up for sale is a Matching Pair of Very Fine 17thc Chinese Kangxi Mirror Black Glazed Meiping Porcelain Vases. The Vases have a nice early Chinese meiping form. The Vases has a beautiful Mirror Jet Black Kangxi period glaze with hares-fur accents to the glaze commonly seen on period flambe examples. The Vases have neatly written Kangxi six-character mark within double rings. The Vases show some light wear but are overall in fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The vases display beautifully measuring 10 inches tall, by 3 7/8 inches wide. You rarely see signed Kangxi examples like these come up for sale, mostly an original pair being offered with s!
