Two vintage very rare and hard to find 1940\'s/1950\'s wood wooden Civil War soldiers scene diorama very well-made heavy music boxes. This matching pair have metal and paper tags attached (tied by red and white thread) to the wind-up keys marked \'\"Genuine Thorens, Swiss Music Work\". Both are complete and have great detail and workmanship and feature boy soldiers, cannons, gunpowder keg, cannon ball piles and fence. The music box with the Confederate soldier is marked on the bottom \"Thorens Movement, Dixie, Made In Switzerland, Anri\" and the one with the Union soldier is marked \"Thorens Movement, Battle Hymn Of The Republic, Made In Switzerland, Anri\". Both are in complete very good to excellent condition and play beautifully with great sound. The Union soldier may have repair work or a factory blemish where is right hand is holding the rifle. It is not that noticeablebut worth mentioning. Both display beautifully with great colors and detail. They are sold as is and as pictured with returns not accepted. $20.00 postage.
