As you can see, my cat loves the mornings when I photograph outside. She makes an attempt to get in every photo, but is not included in this sale!

These are VINTAGE 1950\'s - 1960\'s chairs, NOT REPRODUCTIONS!! A wonderful pair of Danish Modern style easy chairs, made in Europe, in solid walnut. These have brand new upholstery fabric and high-density foam cushions. Incredible mid-century sculptural form.

Chairs are exceptionally well-made, extremely sturdy, and of the highest quality.

Cushions are upholstered in a high-quality teflon-coated knit. The fabric color is \"charcoal black.\" Cushions are zippered for ease in cleaning.

When found, these chairs had small headrest cushions that hung over the backs of the chairs. I had these remade, but the chairs can be used with or without the headrests. The headrest can either be hung over the backside wood supports, or tucked under the wood, and simply hung over the back cushion. I have included photos showing the different possibilities.

The chairs retain their original finish, with a warm patina. The wood is a deep caramel color. The frames are solid walnut, with NO VENEER.

Each chair measures 35\" tall, 27.25\" wide, and 34.75\" deep. Seat cushion height is 15.5\"

These vintage chairs are becoming very hard-to-find, especially a matched pair. These are very clean examples, in excellent condition. These were very gently used. The frames are tight and sturdy, with no wobbles. Original rubber-coated wire springs are in excellent condition.

I have included photos of all sides of each chair, so you can see the incredible condition. These chairs have no chips, nicks, cracks, splits, breaks, scratches, hidden damage, or repairs.

Upholstery is BRAND NEW and excellent, with no rips, tears, stains, odors, or wear.
