On sale are the following Vintage items:
1. 2 VINTAGE DON THE BEACHCOMBER DRINK AND APPETIZER MENUS2. 1 QUEEN\'S SURF FOOD MENU. 3. 1 QUEEN\'S SURF LUAU ANNOUNCEMENT FLYER. 4. 1 COASTER from the EDGEWATER HOTEL IN WAIKIKI.
Item #1. These two Vintage DON THE BEACHCOMBER menus are from 1953. Drink menu reads,\"Don the Beachcomber is the world\'s recognized authority on Rum drinks, and has created some sixty originals for your drinking pleasure.\" Drinks prices: Rum Julep .90 cents, Zombie $1.45, Tahitian Rum punch .85 (see photos).
Menus measures: 9\" length x 6\" width.
1. Menu #1 -Page 1 & 2 of DON THE BEACHCOMBER MENU has small cut on top corner,discoloration due to age, unable to see cover since it is attached to scrapbook page and no writing or marks. Menu #2 - DON THE BEACHCOMBER MENU - Cover is in good condition, it is signed Don the Beachcomber, not sure if it is authentic signature. There are some creases, no marks or tears. Page 2 and 3 have no marks or tears, no discoloration. Last page is attached to scrapbook page.
2. QUEEN\'S SURF WAIKIKI BEACH HONOLULU Restaurant Menu. Menu has a variety of drink specials. Insert attached has Surfside Dinners, Appetizers and Desserts. Measures 6\" length x 4 1/2\" width
Menu cover, has some discoloration on top and side where menu folds, and crease on top left corner. Page 1&2 (inside)has discoloration on top and some creases, menu appetizer insert is in good condition.
3. SUNDAY\'S AT QUEEN SURF LUAU ANNOUNCEMENT - Ancient Hawaiian Luau at the Samoan Hut and Garden at Queen Surf every Sunday at 6:30 pm, Island Music, Ceremonial Chants and Hulas. Measures 6\" width x 4\" This flyer has nice graphics. There is discoloration and a few cracks on right side. No discoloration on inside of flyer, no marks, a few cracks on right.
4. MENEHUNE BAR AT THE EDGEWATER HOTEL WAIKIKI COASTER - Great graphics of a menehune with Diamond Head in the backgraound. Colors are vibrant, no marks or tears or discoloration. The back is attached to scrapbook page.
These menus, coaster and flyer could be removed from scrapbook page if done carefully or professionally.
All of these items would be great for the Hawaiiana vintage collector.
