With this sale it does not matter which came first, the chicken or the egg, because you get BOTH! This sale is for two old tin toys.
This vintage TIN TOY HOPPING PECKING ROOSTER is a wind-up type tin toy. His side says that he was made in KOHLER US Zone Germany. He is 3\" long, 2\" high, and 1 1/4\" wide. He hops about when you wind his key. His cock\'s comb is made from felt. I see that he has lost his tail in the ensuing years, which was made from plastic.Lithos are strong on this guy.
The second TIN TOY is a HOPPING PECKING CHICK with a tinegg. I opened the egg and the chick hopped with no problem. The chick has no makers mark, but is similar in fashion and color to the rooster. She is 2 1/2\" long, 1 3/4\" wide. Her Lithographs are nice.
There is no rust or foxing on either Tin Toy.
