WW2 US Rubberized Jungle Medic Bags with some of the original Medical Contents:
$200.00

This Buy it Now sale is for two US Military issue rubberized jungle conditions medical bags. There is a Second World War era United States Medic Bag with some of the original medical contents. This item is in Used Condition. The bag has three pockets that close with a zipper. One pocket folds over the others when the bag is closed. This bag still has some of its original contents. There is a Tourniquet and a bunch of battle dressing bandages. Some safety pins for use to close wounds or to secure the bandages. This rubberized bag full of camouFlaged bandages might have been used in jungle conditions. I have seen other medical bags that were not rubberized. I believe this medic bag is for jungle conditions in the Pacific Theater. The strap has a 1945 date marked on it. There are two Sept. 21. 1944 dated \"Small Battle Dressing Sterilized - CamouFlaged\" in brown boxes. There is another one with the clear wraper that is dated June 30, 1943. There is an undated \"Triangular Bandage CamouFlaged Two Safety Pins\" in the clear wraper. There is a 1944 dated \"Medium Battle Dressing, Sterilized Carlisle Model, CamouFlaged Stock Number 2-393\". There is a green packaged \"Small Battle Dressing\" with silver colored text. Also included is a later maybe Korean War era version with a Rais-the-Dot type of snap on the closing strap. It is a darker green rubberized material. It is without a carrying strap and one hook connector is missing. It has some stains and rip damage. There are some vintage bandages, probably Post-Vietnam War era that are inside it. The Johnson and Johnson brand military issue bandages might be dated 1981. The later second pattern bag has some manufacturer markings on the inside but they are faded from time. This sale has two types of this bag with some original contents. As a bonus I am also including a third small zip up medical bag from the second World War era that has some 1980s commercial medical supplies.

Condition:

Normally I have old used items in bad to good Used Condition. They typically are in used condition and may have defects such as stains, moth holes, dirt, dents, scratches, etc. These items are 70 years old and things slowly get destroyed by time. Please do not expect something in new condition. These items are in used condition. Most of the vintage items I list are not meant to be wearable clothing, or as usable items. They are sold as old collectibles only.

Shipping:

Shipping will be done via the US Postal Service. Priority Mail will be the means of shipping and Delivery Confirmation will be used. Overseas buyers will have a United States Customs Declaration Form Tracking Number. The item weighs around 6 lbs in an open box as a rough weight for listing purposes. I won\'t know the shipping weight until the item is taken to my local post office. I am not an employee of the USPS and the weight is just a rough measurement for listing purposes. The Shipping amount is just a rough guess based on the weight of the item in an open box. I only package an item after it sells and then take it to the post office so the clerk can inform me of the correct shipping amount. I am not doing this as a business, I am just some guy trying to sell off my private collection of Militaria in order to try and pay some bills. I am using as a garage sale. If I can use a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box to send the item in, I\'ll mail it in one of those. A Small Priority Mail Flat Rate box costs $6.80 to mail within the United States, or $33.95 to mail overseas outside the USA. A Medium Priority Mail Flat Rate box costs $13.45 to mail within the United States, or $66.50 to mail overseas outside the USA. A Large Priority Mail Flat Rate box costs $18.75 to mail within the United States, or $86.95 to mail overseas outside the USA. I have mailed items in the past to: (Brazil, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Netherlands, Australia, Canada, Malta, Hungry, Belgium, Taiwan, etc.)

Payment:

The only acceptable means of Payment allowed by is via PayPal. I ONLY accept PayPal payments!!! Typically there is an error with the calculated shipping. I try to use Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes to make the shipping cost more set in stone. Sometimes I have to have the clerk at the post office tell me the exact shipping cost. If you send immediate payment, you either might overpay or underpay for the shipping cost. After you send payment I\'ll package the item and have the clerk at the post office inform me of the exact shipping amount. If you overpaid for the shipping amount I will refund the excess shipping amount. If you sent immediate payment and underpaid for the shipping cost I will have to send you a PayPal request for the rest of the shipping amount needed to be able to mail the item. Also, I am typically broke without any funds over a dollar in my bank account. It takes between 3 to 5 days for PayPal Funds to transfer to my bank account. I will not be able to mail an item until after the PayPal funds finish transferring over to my bank. I\'m not trying to play games and cheat anyone on the shipping costs. I\'m trying to be 100% up front and honest.

response:

I mostly only leave other people response after they leave me response. Chances are, if you don\'t leave me any response I\'ll probably not leave you any either.

Return policy:

My preference for a return policy is, All Sales Final! No Returns! I try to be 100% Honest and show photos and describe items the best I can. Items tend to be old, used, and as is. There is an policy against Buyer\'s Remorse, it has helped me win quit a few dispute cases in the past.

Questions:

Feel free to ask me a question. But, I am not an experienced tailor and I do not take measurements of clothing. If I see a size marking on an old Quartermaster Tag, I will try to show a photo of it. If I say that I do not know the size than please do not waste both of our time by asking about the size of an old militaria collectable. I am not selling usable items or wearable clothing. I am just selling off my collection of vintage military artifacts. I also tend to have items packaged away to try and keep moths from eating them. I only dig them out if they sell and need to be mailed. Please do not ask me to take more photos, because I probably won\'t take any more photos of things I have already stored away.
