2 Enamelled Russian Silver Spoons By Gustav Klingert Ex Faberge Circa 1896

For saleare these 2enamelled Russian Silver spoons by Gustav Klingert, the master craftsman who used to work for Faberge. The pair have an overall decoration of scrolling designs with blue enameland white beaded borders. Each spoon is approx. 4 1/2 inches in length, the total silverweight for the 2 togetheris35.1 grams. Each ishallmarked with '84' for Russian silver standard next toMoscow mark,(up to1896)and G.K. maker's mark for Gustav Klingert,. The pair are in nice condition with only very minor damage/wear to the enamel (please see detailed photos). This barely warrants a mention, however we do like to point out everything. The top of the reverse (top of handle) of the right spoon has a flake of enamel missing that can only just be seen in the image, and there is the odd minor enamel loss/damage to the smallwhite beaded borders. The pair are still very nice examples. $38US for international Economy Courier (tracked and signature required). Australian and New Zealand buyers please enquire for freight costs.
