FOUR Large Antique WHITELINEN CUTWORK CURTAIN PANELS

These antique White LinenCutwork Curtain Panels date from the late 19th century. The FloralCutwork designs are completely hand sewn and are in excellent condition. Thesurrounding linen on three of the panels has several darns and one stitchedslit (see pix). The panels measure 89 inches long and have deep 9-inch curtainrod casings, which were probably created after their original use to allow forsmaller windows and lower ceilings. All four panels are hemmed with handmadeball fringe, a few pieces are missing. Panels are shown draped over a curtainrod as they were too long for a full length hanging photograph. Despite theirflaws, noticeable only on close inspection, the panels display well. A matchingsmaller curtain in perfect condition is listed separately.

Measurements: 34 inches wide,89 inches long, 9-inch casings, 2-inch fringe. Fabric: linen. Condition: goodto excellent.
