DESCRIPTION:
This sale is for a \"lovely\" German china head lady doll inlavander dress. I do not knowher past history but will describe her the best I can. Reference shows similar shoulder heads made by Hertwig in the late 1800s to early 1900s, Germany. This doll measures just under 20\" tall being a china shoulder head,china porcelain hands with molded fingers intact,porcelain legs with painted molded black boots, and newer vintage replacement cloth body. The shoulder head being antique with body not asold as the china head.A Beautiful face with painted shaded blue eyes, black liner over the eye lids, coral liner over the black liner, with no lower liner,blackbrows and closed mouth with accent line through the lips. Rose color blush accentsherbeautiful white china face. She has painted molded black wavy hair and low brow style. Some paint wear on the hair areas, nothing terrible. I do not see any cracks on this china head.Possibly a little paint touch up on the back of this shoulder head, I removed a sticker and it removed a little paint, I notice a few light scuffs, see close up photo please. Victorian stylelavenderdress is lovely with lace accents, it is two piece andhas snaps down the back, some overall light wear throughout. She wears two half slips and pantaloons. This china head lady displays well and would be a \"Treasure\" for your collection or display! I have taken plenty of photos. Please look at my photos they will serve as part of this description.
