This Silver Proof 2017 Great Britain Queen Elizabeth II Sapphire Jubilee is the perfect coin for collectors of British coins, as well as those who take an interest in the royal family. The coin was struck at the British Royal Mint on a sterling (.925 fine) silver blank. It marks the Queen's 65th anniversary on the thrown, the longest reign in the history of the kingdom. Just 8,000 of these coins were issued.

Exclusive crown design by Glyn Davies

The obverse features Jody Clark's right-side portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a royal diadem. It is encircled by rim inscriptions that include the coin's face value, "5 POUNDS," the name of the monarch, "ELIZABETH II," and a Latin abbreviation of her title, "D.G. REG. FID. DEF."

Glyn Davies designed the reverse. It features a crown with the quote "MY WHOLE LIFE, WHETHER IT BE LONG OR SHORT, DEVOTED TO YOUR SERVICE." "SAPPHIRE JUBILEE" and "1952-2017" are inscribed on the rim.
