In 2017, to commemorate the Centenary of the House of Windsor,the Royal Mint released a Limited Issue House of Windsor £5 Five Pound Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM.
The reverse designed by Lee R. Jones depicts the House of Windsor while the obverse design features the Fifth Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
