DESCRIPTION:
This listing is for a \"lovely\"Hertwig German china head doll. I do not knowher past history but will describe her the best I can. Reference shows similar shoulder heads made by Hertwig in the late 1880s to early 1900s, Germany. There is a number 136 over 6 on the back of her shoulder plate. This doll measures 21\" tall being a antique china shoulder head,china hands with molded fingers intact, china legs with molded painted black boots, there are painted blue ribbon ties on the legs. Doll has a cloth body that shows some overall age wear and staining, no odors. Looking at the back of her shoulder head there is a \"faint\" pencil like line through the number 1 of the number 135 up to the top of where her hair starts, this could be an old line crack but all together intact. She has painted molded wavy blonde hair. A \"darling\" face with painted light blue eyes, there is black liner over the eye lid, coral liner over the black liner, no lower liner under the eyes, long brown single stroke brows and closed mouth. Rose color blush accents her white china face. Doll wears vintage hand made two piece top with skirt. Her floral on green top has buttons down the front, long blue skirt has safety pin closure at the waist. She wears antique slips with pantaloons. Some wear on the slip and pantaloons but nothing terrible. This doll would be a \"Treasure\" for your collection or display! Doll stand is not included with her. I have taken plenty of photos.
