DESCRIPTION:
This listing is for a \"lovely\" antique German bisque head doll, 1910+. Incised at the back of her bisque head is \"29 with H symbol\". Reference attributes to Karl Hartman, Stockheim, Germany. This doll measures just over 22\" tall being a bisque socket head on wooden composition jointed body. Body shows overall wear, paint loss & paint chips, scuffs, for being 100 or so years old, all fingers intact. Nails accented with red lines for that realistic look. Doll is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, legs and knees. She is strung fine and displays well. She has a \"sweet\" face with open and close blue glass sleepy eyes that work fine, painted lashes around the eyes, brush stroked brown brows, she has open mouth with upper teeth, there is a faint dimple in her chin. Rose color blush on her pretty face. I flashed inside and do not see any cracks or hairlines. Her auburn brown wig slips over a pate on her head, a vintage wig but not antique like this doll. Doll wears a charming blue dress with embroidery and lace accents, only safety pin closure down the back. There is a straw hat to accent her dress. She wears a hoop skirt, pantaloons, stockings and shoes. Please look at my photos they will serve as part of this description. Doll stand is not included in this listing.
