DESCRIPTION:

This listing is for an antique \"painted\" bisque head toddler doll with \"FLIRTY\" eyes. Doll is marked on the back of head \"Armand Marseille, Germany, 996, A 12 M\". Doll is a bisque socket head with composition toddler body being jointed at the neck, shoulders and legs with all fingers and toes intact. Fingers and toes accented with red lines for a life-like appearance. Body shows some overall wear, scuffs for being 100 or so years old but together intact, strung fine. There is a number \"6\" incised on each inner upper leg. There is a non-working crier in the lower stomach area. A sweet little face with open and close blue glass sleepy eyes that work fine, eyes are also \"Flirty\" that is they move from side to side. Upper hair lashes on the eye lids are sparse. Doll has brush stroked painted brows, paint rub on nose, doll has open mouth with two upper teeth, a faint little dimple in the chin. High color blush on his \"adorable\" face. This is a painted bisque head with lots of \"paint loss\" around the top areas of the head. Possibly a warm rag was applied to the head to remove the pate causing paint loss. The wig covers this area of the head but you may wish to do restoration to your liking. Wears original dark brown mohair wig that is glued on a pate that goes over his head. Wears shorts, top, undies, stockings and shoes. Offering to you AS IS condition shown with BUY IT NOW listing. Doll stand is not included.
