DESCRIPTION:
Here is a lovely \"larger size\" antique china shoulder head doll by German maker, late 1800s to early 1900s. Unmarked as many were reference shows similar made by Hertwig & Co., Germany. Doll is a antique china shoulder head with porcelain hands, molded fingers intact, porcelain china legs with painted molded blackboots. There is a blue ribbon around the legs. She has a cloth body, body is not antique like this shoulder head but a nice fit. I do not know her past history. Doll has a \"beautiful\" face with painted blue eyes (one eye a little paint wear), black liner over the eye lid with coral liner over the back liner, black brows and closed mouth with long straight accent line through the lips. Rosy color blush accents her white china face. She has black molded painted curly hair. Her vintage Turn of the Century style print dress is \"charming\" with lace accents, it snaps down the back. She wears antique slip that could use a cleaning, and pantaloons. I have taken plenty of photos. Please look at my photos they will serve as part of this description.
