Beautiful 24\"German Patent Washable Doll, Circa 1880/1890s. She has a soft paper mache shoulder, composition legs and arms, anda body made of cloth.She hasvivid glass blue eyes, bushy eyebrows and rosy red cheeks. Her hair is a pretty auburn color and falls a little bit past her shoulders. There are no marks on the back of her neck or body, however there are some marks/old writing on the back of her skirt (which is coated with a whitish paint, making it somewhat stiff feeling). F.M. Schilling was onemaker of dolls like her; she is unmarked. Patent Washable Dolls were made from 1880-1915.

In Good Antique Condition from a Smoke Free/Pet Free Home. There are some areas of damage: there is a stress crack along her left eye due to the weight of her glass eyes and a slight indention on her forehead (please see photos 10 and 11). Her arms are a little loose and she is missing several fingers and toes (please see photos). Her hair is a bit starchy feeling and is balding in spots at the back (please see photo 12). Lastly, she is overall a bit dirty from storage and handling over the years (doll and outfit).
