DESCRIPTION:
This listing is for a \"gorgeous\" antique china head lady doll made by the C.F. Kling and Company, 1890s+. A larger 26\" size she is a china shoulder head with china porcelain hands, molded fingers intact, she has porcelain legs with painted moldedlavender boots with gold accents, she has hard cloth body. Body is all together intact, stitch jointed at the hips and knees. Doll displays well sitting or standing with a doll stand. Shoulder plate is secure on the body. I do not see any cracks on this shoulder head. Incised on the back of her shoulder head is \"13 0\" with a number or symbol on the right side of the shoulder plate, it is faint, see photo. Doll has beautifully molded painted black curly hair, great facialfeatures with painted blue eyes, black liner over the eye lids, coral liner over the black liner, long black brows and closed mouth with darker accent line through the lips, her rose color luster blush accents her white china face. Wears hand made Turn of the Century style Victorian gown with vintage black hat. The tiny beads on her hat need a little restoration. She wears vintage slip and pantaloons. Clothing is in overall nice condition,I believe this outfit was made especially for this doll. This impressive doll would be a \"Treasure\" for your collection or display!
