28" Hand Painted Yemenite Kudu Horn Shofar Grafted In & Holy Jerusalem Description This authentic Yemenite Kudu Shofar features the Messianic Seal of Jerusalem with the star of David and the fish and has some Jerusalem buildings with it's famous roofs.The design sits on a gold background painted on the top half of the Shofar that is edged with gold lines and has written in English Holy Land This amazing Shofar measures 28" in length.In the Scriptures, the word shofar - first occurs in Exodus 19:16 when the Torah was first given to Israel - Shavuot (i.e., "Pentecost"): "On the morning of the third day there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud on the mountain and a very loud shofar blast"קל שׁפָר חָזָק מְאד”, so that all the people in the camp trembled.... And as the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him in thunder."
