Antique Eastlake Cast Iron & Bronze Window Lock & Keeper

If the quantity above is 1, this indicates that 1 set sold and only 1 is available.Gorgeous, antique, window lock and keeper made during the late 1800\'s. The body of the lock and the keeper are made of solid, heavy, thick, cast iron, and the turn-lever of the lock is made of solid bronze.

* Please note that the color of the parts is actually a dark gray color ("gunsmoke"). Due to the lighting, the parts appear lighter in color and brighter in the photos.

Lock and keeper#1 were salvaged from an old home in NorthEastern Pennsylvania, and #2 was salvaged from Central Maine. At the point of salvage, #1 was found dirty and rusty (see last photo). We cleaned and polished each part, allowing the true beauty of the design to show forth. There are still traces of rust, but that only adds to their great, aged look. #2 was cleaned within the past year by the person that we acquired it from. He prefers his hardware with a bit of patina, and didn\'t remove the tarnish from the bronze. If you are planning on buying both and would prefer #2 cleaned to look more like #1, let us know after the sale and we\'ll clean it prior to shipping.

The condition of the locks and keepers is as remarkable as their beauty! There no breaks, bends, cracks, chips, or dents. They are ready to install, use, and enjoy for another 100+ years!
