Atruly tribal 19th century Lur or Bakhtiari (a sub-tribe of the Lurs) sumak weaving with panels showing2-headed fantastic animalsor mythological beasts (see close up photos).This beautiful antique tribal textile relic is all wool in construction with natural shades of medium brown wool for the warps.The multitude of dye colors are all 100% natural, richly saturated,and derived solely from organic plant sources.All of the white designareas are wovenwith natural, un-dyed, cotton.
