  • A full 12-month warranty is in effect from the original date of purchase when purchased from and installed by (should installation be necessary) Cooltoo shop. A Cooltoo shop 12 month limited warranty is applicable when electrical or mechanical devices/components are purchased from Cooltoo shop but is not installed by any third party qualified installer.
  • For all faulty items with a Return to Base warranty, buyers must contact Cooltoo shop by e-mail or Telephone to arrange appropriate return method. Please Note: For all returned non-faulty items (identified by our technical department), the buyer is responsible for shipping and handling fee for re-sending the item back to buyer, We have NO responsibility on the shipping and handling fee on any returned items. If buyer sends back the item by C.O.D. service, item will NOT be accepted.
    Please be advised that if a product presented for repair is capable of retaining user-generated data, the data may be lost during the repair process.
    • Cooltoo shop and its Authorised agents will use their best endeavours to complete product repairs in a reasonable period based on available resources and workload.
    • Refurbished parts may be used to repair the product. In case of a replacement, the product may be replaced with a refurbished unit of the same type, or, if one is unavailable, a similar refurbished model with equal or better features & specifications.
    • The Warranty is void and warranty claims may be refused, if:
      • The product was not transported, installed, operated or maintained according to manufacturer instruction, or
      • The product was abused, damaged, tempered, altered or repaired by any unauthorised persons, or
      • This warranty covers new products purchased from Cooltoo shop only. Pre-owned, ex-demonstration, products and accessories not originally supplied by Cooltoo shop are excluded.
      • This warranty is offered to the original purchaser only and is not transferable to subsequent purchasers (For example, customer purchases car with a GPS unit pre installed).
      • The Warranty covers all defects in workmanship or materials, including parts and labour needed to correct the problem.
      • Cooltoo shop will at its option repair or replace the product with a new or reconditioned product with no charge to you. Cooltoo shop will pay reasonable delivery costs to return your product to you.
      • If the product has been discontinued or is not available we will liaise with you and come to a mutual decision.
      How do you obtain Warranty Service
      • To return the faulty goods, you should test them before sending it back as we will charge a $40 service charge and applicable postage fees should an electronic device be returned to us and found to be without faults.
        If it is found that the damage was caused by incorrect installation, modification or wiring, Cooltoo shop will not be responsible for repair or replacement. Cooltoo shop will provide every assistance to find a solution but it will be at the cost of the customer to an agreed value.
      • You must provide a thorough explanation of the problem and a list of connected components installed in your vehicle.
      • You must provide suitable proof of purchase for the product. This includes a copy of the original invoice showing purchase date, model and serial number.
        Should a Refund be agreed to, it will be subject to a 15% Restocking fee and will not include the postage from us to you.
      • Returned items must be packed in original box with foam mountings to protect it in transit, if the original box is not available, please wrap the item in bubble wrap at least 25mm thick and place securely in an appropriate sized cardboard box.
      This warranty does not cover the following
      • Damage occurring during shipment to Cooltoo shop or any Service agents. Damage during shipment is the responsibility of you or the carrier and insurance is highly recommended.
      • Damage caused by accident, abuse, negligence, misuse, improper connections, improper operation, or failure to follow the instructions contained in the owner\'s manual.
      • Damage caused by acts of hostility or terrorism.
      • Damage caused by Acts of God, including without limitation, earthquake, fire, flood, storms or other acts of nature.
      • Service performed by an unauthorized person, business, organization or service agent.
      • Any product which has the serial number or warranty sticker removed, detached or defaced.
      • Any product which has been adjusted altered or modified without Cooltoo shop consent.
      • Any product that has been subjected to an excessive amount of dust, or dirt, moisture or unreasonable Environmental conditions.
      • Any consumables supplied with the product. (For example: batteries, toner etc.)
      • Damaged caused to or by any third party accessories.
      • Damage caused by improper installation.
      • Damage caused by a fault in a power supply or a vehicles electrical system.
      • Damage caused to your property as a result of improper installation.
      • Misspelling, oversight of letters, or any other cosmetic difference in layout found in the device listing, information and its Data.
      • Cooltoo shop does not and cannot warrant that the Operating System operates error-free. Calculation errors may occur with GPS routes, changed road and Environmental conditions, and/or incomplete Data.
      • Cooltoo shop shall not be held responsible for loss of use or any form of consequential loss whatsoever.
      • Cooltoo shop reserves the right, at our discretion, to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Amendments will be effective immediately upon notification our website.
