Nice NOS/NIB pair of TESLA ECC88/6DJ8 tubes, a consumer variant of E88CC without gold-plated pins. Silver shields between systems, yellow prints, \'32\' factory codes. These are very nice tubes, even less common than the E88CC versions. The pair for sale is in mint condition, and tightly matched. Date codes are 3/1970 and 3/1972. Boxes are in very good condition, too. The tubes test as 100%++, with following results:Tube 1 (583): Ia1= 16.30 mA / Ia2 = 17.10 mA, S/gm1= 11.00 mA/V / S/gm2= 11.30 mA/V
Tube 2 (749): Ia1= 14.60 mA / Ia2 = 17.30 mA, S/gm1= 10.20 mA/V / S/gm2= 11.30 mA/V...where a new/unused tube should have S/gm around 7.50 mA/V, and emission approx. 11-12 mA.
