3 Checks 1891 Vermont Bank 1878 Union Bank 1882 German National Bank Railroad:

Being offered are 3 bank checks. 1) This was drawn on The Vermont National Bank, Dated 1891. The check has various stamping marks of other banks. The check was for the account of J. A. Muzzy in Jamaica Vermont. Assume the check was processed through these banks. Includes The National Bank of Redemption Boston, Peoples National Bank Brattlebcro Vermont, Welden National Bank St Aldens Vermont. This also states Central Vermont Rail Road train. This is the first mark so assume was given to the railroad. The check does show age and wearing, The check has numerous bank stampings and some edge bruises. The check is all intact, no rips, tears, or creases. Approx. 8 3/16\" by 3\". 2) is a bank check, drawn on the Union Bank for the Givens Dawdy Company. Dated 1878. The check has an imprinted US revenue stamp, for the Internal Revenue Service. The check does show age and wearing, there is an edge tear, shows soiling and discoloration in places, and some edge bruises and small corner creases. The check is all intact, no major rips, tears, or creases. Approx. 8 3/8\" by 3 3/8\". 3) is an old bank check. It is dated October 26, 1882 for the sum of One Hundred and forty seven dollars and 63 cents. States German National Bank in Allegheny Pennsylvania. The check is signed, and the back has several cancellations. The check shows some minor wearing and very slight soiling, there are two cross marks which penetrated the paper and look machine made. These do not affect the check but assume was done for something but what is beyond me. Approx. 7 7/8\" by 3\".Please feel free to contact me with any questions about my items.
