Three (3) spectacular antique Dresden porcelain sherberts or ice cream pedestalled cups, and saucers. Entirely and meticulously hand painted (no transfer), featuring scenic vignettes with ladies and gentlemen, with musical instruments,flowers, and fans .. in garden settings; landscape backgrounds. The inside of the cups are lushly gilt, with 6 egg-shaped medallions,exceptionally ornate and delicate gilt paste flowers, swags, and beading .. also on the outside and stems of the cups, and saucers. There is also very delicate white enamel beading ~ the detail is simply amazing! The saucers are apx 5\" diameter; the cups are apx 4 1/4\" high andthe diameter of the tops is apx 3 3/8\".Marked with a lamb, and \"Dresden .. Germany\",in blue (Ambrosius Lamm); there are also gold flowers hand painted over another maker\'s mark. Offered as found, as is ~ please note the following condition issues: 1) there is minor wear to the gold accents and trim on the saucers; 2) one sherbert has a barely noticeable hairline on the side of the cup (see close-ups *); 3) the 2 other sherberts have been repaired on both sides, and the repair does not appear to have been professionally done (see close-ups). These are stunning, and certainly worthy of proper restoration. Enlarge photos for detail ~ please excuse the reflections.
